A former store manager is suing RadioShack Corp. with claims the chain has been failing to pay overtime wages for the past three years.

Fort Worth -- A former store manager is suing RadioShack Corp. with claims the chain has been failing to pay overtime wages for the past three years. Bloomberg reports that David Verderame filed suit in Philadelphia seeking at least $5.8 million in unpaid overtime wages for all Pennsylvania RadioShack employees. On Thursday, RadioShack had the suit moved to U.S. District Court due to the size of the alleged damages.

Boston -- Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services said that it has named Thomas Gorman regional manager of its Boston and Providence, R.I. offices.

Gorman has been serving as the sales manager in the Philadelphia and Washington D.C. offices since November 2011, and is charged with expanding the Boston and Providence offices.

Chicago -- Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services said it has named Stephen Rachman as regional manager of its Chicago O’Hare office.

Rachman began his career at Marcus & Millichap in 2002 as an agent in the firm’s Chicago O’Hare office and, in 2004, relocated to the Chicago Downtown office. Named senior associate in 2005, and then VP investments in March 2013, Rachman returned to the Chicago O’Hare office in March.

As convenience store operator Wawa expanded, it faced a logistics challenge: The company was adding more new stores, and its manually operated chilled warehouse had run out of room. Its production had outpaced its storage capacity, and the chain’s products were now being produced, staged on the warehouse floor and quickly shipped to make room for milk, teas and juices that were newly coming off the line.
