Boingo Wireless secures Wi-Fi rights to Westfield, Cafaro shopping centers

Boingo Wireless has announced agreements with mall owners Westfield and Cafaro to manage and operate retail Wi-Fi networks in several of each developer’s shopping centers.

Los Angeles -- Boingo Wireless has announced agreements with mall owners Westfield and Cafaro to manage and operate retail Wi-Fi networks in several of each developer’s shopping centers.

With this agreement, Boingo now manages Wi-Fi networks in 33 malls across the country.

New shopping options to open at Westfield Old Orchard

Westfield Old Orchard, an outdoor destination located in Skokie (Chicago), Ill., announced that The Body Shop will rejoin the center in spring 2011 with a 765-sq.-ft. store near Lord & Taylor.

Galt Toys will open a 3,400-sq.-ft. store, also slated for a spring 2011 opening, as is Vera Bradley -- with a 1,650-sq.-ft. boutique.

Westfield Old Orchard to launch world-first dining and green specialty food shopping venue

The Westfield Group announced that its Westfield Old Orchard shopping center in Skokie, Ill., will change dramatically with the addition of a culinary-focused dining and green food shopping venue slated to open in summer 2011.

Skokie, Ill. -- The Westfield Group announced that its Westfield Old Orchard shopping center in Skokie, Ill., will change dramatically with the addition of a culinary-focused dining and green food shopping venue slated to open in summer 2011.

The new venue replaces the former food court, which closed on Sept. 1 to make way for the new development.
