The Men’s Wearhouse and online wedding site The Knot Wedding Network announced that Men’s Wearhouse will be the exclusive tuxedo provider for TheKnot.com.

Fremont, Calif. -- The Men’s Wearhouse and online wedding site The Knot Wedding Network announced Wednesday that Men’s Wearhouse will be the exclusive tuxedo provider for TheKnot.com.

The new arrangement will give brides-to-be the opportunity to view and interact with Men's Wearhouse brand-name tuxedo merchandise at an early stage of the wedding planning process.

The Knot, a media company that targets brides-to-be and pregnant women, said Monday that Macy's has sold back its 10.7% stake in The Knot for $37.7 million.

New York City --- The Knot, a media company that targets brides-to-be and pregnant women, said Monday that Macy's has sold back its 10.7% stake in The Knot for $37.7 million.

The Knot did not give a reason for the repurchase and said it is part of a previously announced $50 million buyback plan.

The sale doesn't affect the companies' advertising and wedding registry agreements: The Knot will continue to direct wedding-minded readers to Macy's and Bloomingdale's registries, and Macy's will keep advertising in The Knot's media properties.

Nordstrom is putting its foot in the bridal business, opening an in-store bridal boutique called the Wedding Suite at its Chicago flagship on North Michigan Avenue, according to the Chicago Tribune. The department store retailer is positioning itself as a one-stop shop for wedding parties, and will unveiling 14 bridal salons at stores nationwide over the next six weeks, the report said.
