European Wax Center has signed a lease for 1,650 sq. ft. of ground floor retail space at 95 Chambers Street/75 Reade Street between Broadway and Church in Tribeca, according to Winick Realty Group, the broker representing both the retailer and the landlord, Ascend Group, in the transaction.

New York — European Wax Center has signed a lease for 1,650 sq. ft. of ground floor retail space at 95 Chambers Street/75 Reade Street between Broadway and Church in Tribeca, according to Winick Realty Group, the broker representing both the retailer and the landlord, Ascend Group, in the transaction.  

Winick also represented Reade Street Prep in a lease transaction for a 3,600-sq.-ft. expansion space on the 75 Reade Street side of the building.

Fairway Group Holdings Corp., parent company of the Fairway Market grocery chain, has signed a long term lease to open a 52,242-sq.-ft .grocery in Manhattan's TriBeCa neighborhood with commercial realtor Jack Resnick & Sons.

New York -- Fairway Group Holdings Corp., parent company of the Fairway Market grocery chain, has signed a long term lease to open a 52,242-sq.-ft .grocery in Manhattan's TriBeCa neighborhood with commercial realtor Jack Resnick & Sons.

This store is expected to open in fall 2014. It will be the first Fairway location in Lower Manhattan and the 16th Fairway food store in the tri-state New York, New Jersey and Connecticut region.

IPG Real Estate said that Amish Market, a landmark Manhattan gourmet market located in the Midtown neighborhood of TriBeCa, is being offered for sale in hopes of an offer prior to an auction slated for November 2012.

New York -- IPG Real Estate said Monday that Amish Market, a landmark Manhattan gourmet market located in the Midtown neighborhood of TriBeCa, is being offered for sale in hopes of an offer prior to an auction slated for November 2012.

The supermarket/deli features 7,500 sq. ft., including 1,000 sq. ft. of mezzanine, supported by 2,000 sq. ft. of basement space. An initial review by a court-appointed Chapter 11 trustee verified $8.2 million in sales from a September 2011 to an August 2012 time period.
