The largest shareholder of Famous Brands, Z Capital Partners, a private equity firm, has acquired the remaining minority ownership stake in the company from The Carlyle Group.

Broomfield, Colo. -- The largest shareholder of Famous Brands, Z Capital Partners, a private equity firm, has acquired the remaining minority ownership stake in the company from The Carlyle Group.

Famous Brands is the parent company of TCBY Yogurt and Mrs. Fields Cookies.

Dallas-based Cypress Equities said Monday that construction is about to begin on the site of what will become Market Street Place, a 250,000-sq.-ft. retail center scheduled to open in 2015 and co-developed by Cypress Equities and The Carlyle Group.

San Francisco -- Dallas-based Cypress Equities said Monday that construction is about to begin on the site of what will become Market Street Place, a 250,000-sq.-ft. retail center scheduled to open in 2015 and co-developed by Cypress Equities and The Carlyle Group.

Market Street Place will be a six-level, urban retail redevelopment designed by Gensler’s San Francisco architectural team.

Dallas -- The Carlyle Group and Cypress Equities announced plans to develop a 250,000-sq.-ft., multi-level retail center on Market Street in the popular shopping district of San Francisco.

The one-acre site, formerly known as CityPlace, will be rebranded Market Street Place. The project is fully entitled, groundbreaking is slated for the fall of 2012 and the grand opening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.
