Fameco brings Plaza Square to 100% occupancy

Fameco Real Estate said it has leased retail space at Plaza Square in Wayne, N.J., bringing the center to full occupancy.

The 104,000-sq.-ft. center, owned by Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers, is anchored by ShopRite with Bank of America, Dollar Power, Bensi Italian Restaurant and Wendy’s. Recent lease signings include Great Clips, Hand & Stone, C2 Education and GNC.

Le Club to open at Country Club Plaza

Midwestern shopping center owner/developer Tucker Development announced that Le Club has signed a lease at Country Club Plaza, located in the southern portion of Country Club Hills, Ill.

Country Club Hills, Ill. -- Midwestern shopping center owner/developer Tucker Development announced that Le Club has signed a lease at Country Club Plaza, located in the southern portion of Country Club Hills, Ill.

The woman’s apparel retailer, which operates four locations throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, will occupy a 2,500-sq.-ft. inline space at the 450,000-sq.-ft. center. According to Tucker’s VP leasing Adam Moschin, approximately 5,600 sq. ft. of space remains available for lease.

Passco arranges $25.8 million to refinance Silver City Plaza

Irvine, Calif.-based Passco Cos., said it has negotiated a $25.8 million loan to refinance Silver City Plaza, a 41,583-sq.-ft. neighborhood shopping center in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas -- Irvine, Calif.-based Passco Cos., said it has negotiated a $25.8 million loan to refinance Silver City Plaza, a 41,583-sq.-ft. neighborhood shopping center in Las Vegas.

The new loan was arranged with Cantor Commercial Real Estate, an affiliate of Cantor Fitzgerald, and was uniquely structured to accommodate a challenged market.

Owned by H. Hovnanian Industries, Bellcrest Shopping Plaza is a 106,000-sq.-ft. neighborhood shopping center formerly anchored by Foodtown but still home to Planet Fitness, Burger King and Provident Bank.

Primestor acquires 4G Plaza

In the latest acquisition for its Primestor-Platinum Urban Opportunity Fund I, LP, Primestor Development has acquired 4G Plaza, a neighborhood shopping center in Las Vegas, for $8.8 million.

Las Vegas -- In the latest acquisition for its Primestor-Platinum Urban Opportunity Fund I, LP, Primestor Development has acquired 4G Plaza, a neighborhood shopping center in Las Vegas, for $8.8 million.

Purchased from 4G Properties LLC, the 78,849-sq.-ft. center is anchored by El Super and shadow-anchored by The Home Depot. It is 93% leased. Other tenants include Wells Fargo, Taco Bell, Big 5 Sporting Goods and Sprint.

The Counter to open at Plaza Hermosa

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased restaurant space in Hermosa Beach, Calif., at Plaza Hermosa shopping center to The Counter.

The burger restaurant has leased 2,837 sq. ft. and is slated to open for business in July.

The 94,939-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by Vons, alongside national retailers such as CVS/pharmacy, Aaron Brothers, Jamba Juice and The UPS Store.

An upscale consignment shop, The Snooty Fox has leased 5,000 sq. ft., bringing the center to 96% leased. It is slated to open for business this summer.

The 396,861-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by a 99,675-sq.-ft. Kroger and a 69,592-sq.-ft. Biggs alongside national retailers such as Michaels, Massage Envy, Panera Bread, Starbucks and Staples.

Fresh Market to open at Congressional Plaza

Federal Realty Investment Trust said Monday that The Fresh Market will open a new store at Congressional Plaza, a 332,000-sq.-ft. regional shopping center in Rockville, Md.

Rockville, Md. -- Federal Realty Investment Trust said Monday that The Fresh Market will open a new store at Congressional Plaza, a 332,000-sq.-ft. regional shopping center in Rockville, Md.

The store, the specialty grocer’s first in Montgomery County, will measure 19,860 sq. ft. Recent openings at the center include Last Call Studio by Neiman Marcus and Matchbox Vintage Pizza Bistro.

Acquired by Federal Realty in 1965, Congressional Plaza is a regional shopping destination anchored by Buy Buy Baby and The Container Store.
