Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets experts announced the firm has closed the sale of Miracle Marketplace in Miami on behalf of AWE Talisman.

Heitman purchased the power center, which is located in the Coral Way submarket. The 243,047-sq.-ft., seven-story Class A vertical retail property is located along the Miracle Mile/Coral Way and is anchored by Nordstrom Rack, Ben Bath & Beyond, Marshalls, LA Fitness, PetSmart, DSW Shoe Warehouse and Ulta.

The 2.9 million-sq.-ft. Brickell City Centre will include 500,000 sq. ft. of high-end retail along with condominiums and hotel slated for completion in latter 2015.

Terranova Corp. has signed a lease with Gap, providing a temporary store for the retailer while it builds its new multi-story location on Lincoln Road in Miami.

Miami Beach, Fla. -- Terranova Corp. has signed a lease with Gap, providing a temporary store for the retailer while it builds its new multi-story location on Lincoln Road in Miami.

Gap will open a new location just off Lincoln Road at 1669 Meridian Ave., two blocks away from Gap’s current location at 1001 Lincoln. The existing Gap will close by early 2013, when Gap will begin redeveloping the building into a two-level, 20,000-sq. ft. flagship store. During construction, Gap will stay open for business at the Meridian Avenue location.

Gap will open a new location just off Lincoln Road at 1669 Meridian Ave., two blocks away from Gap’s current location at 1001 Lincoln. The existing Gap will close by early 2013, when Gap will begin redeveloping the building into a two-level, 20,000-sq. ft. flagship store. Miami Beach, Fla.-based Savitar Realty Advisors has nearly completed its transformation of the legendary Lincoln Theatre in the heart of South Beach from a historic movie theater and symphony hall into a 35,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use building located on the pedestrian promenade known as the Lincoln Road Mall.

The modern retail establishment scheduled to open in November will house H&M’s 30,000-sq.-ft. flagship store as well as a number of other smaller tenants including Swatch, Sabon, 4D Gelato and 100 Montaditos, a Spanish tapas and sandwich style restaurant.

Dallas – The Container Store said Tuesday it will open three Florida locations in 2013 – in Orlando, Tampa and Boca Raton – joining its two existing Sunshine State stores in Hallandale Beach and Miami.

The Orlando store is slated to open spring 2013 and occupy 25,000 sq. ft. in the Mall at Millenia. The Tampa store, also 25,000 sq. ft., will be located one block south of International Plaza Mall. An opening date is still to be determined.

Terranova Corp. said that men’s fashion retailer Romo Italian Designers will open a 1,020-sq.-ft. store at the Crossing Shopping Village, in Miami.

Miami Beach, Fla. -- Terranova Corp. said that men’s fashion retailer Romo Italian Designers will open a 1,020-sq.-ft. store at the Crossing Shopping Village, in Miami.

The location is a first for the retailer under the Romo Italian Designers banner. The store is slated to open by the end of August. 

The Crossings Shopping Village is anchored by Publix, and tenanted by CVS, Blockbuster Video and Chicken Kitchen.
