Simon Property Group is the world's largest developer, owner and operator of outlet shopping centers, with interests in 70 Premium Outlet Centers located in the United States, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

The center encompasses 173,000 sq. ft. of GLA featuring 80 stores and is strategically located in Johor Bahur, Malaysia. A grand opening celebration will take place on December 11.

Toys “R” Us announced a joint venture with Li & Fung Retailing that will expand Toys “R” Us in Southeast Asia and Greater China.

Wayne, N.J. -- Toys “R” Us announced Tuesday a joint venture with Li & Fung Retailing that will expand Toys “R” Us in Southeast Asia and Greater China.

With the new agreement, the existing Toys “R” Us licensed operations throughout Asia, consisting of more than 100 stores and offices across nine markets, will become 70% majority owned and controlled by Toys “R” Us and 30% owned by Li & Fung Retailing.

Aeropostale announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Montreal PTE Ltd., a joint venture between Apparel Group LLC and Jay Gee Melwani Group, to open approximately 25 stores across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, over the next five years.

Collective Brands, parent company to Payless ShoeSource and Stride Rite, said Tuesday it is planning to take its Stride Rite children’s shoe brand to mainland China next year.

Topeka, Kan. -- Collective Brands, parent company to Payless ShoeSource and Stride Rite, said Tuesday it is planning to take its Stride Rite children’s shoe brand to mainland China next year.

According to Bloomberg, the company is teaming up with Li & Fung Retailing and will also open stores in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore starting in December, according to Matthew Rubel, CEO of Collective Brands.
