Venture reps 22,400 sq. ft. in retail leases in D-FW area

Venture Commercial said it has represented tenants Sola Salon Studios and Guitar Center in the completion of two D-FW leases, totaling 22,400 sq. ft. of space.

Dallas/Fort Worth -- Venture Commercial said it has represented tenants Sola Salon Studios and Guitar Center in the completion of two D-FW leases, totaling 22,400 sq. ft. of space.

Sola Salon Studios has opened a new 10,237-sq.-ft. studio in the Marketplace at Highland Village shopping center, the chain’s fifth location in Texas.

Guitar Center leased 12,163 sq. ft. at Town East Crossing in Mesquite, Texas.

Guitar Center to open in Durgin Square

Portsmouth, N.H. -- Boston-based The Wilder Cos. said that Guitar Center will open a 7,358-sq.-ft. store at Durgin Square in Portsmouth, N.H. The new store will host a grand opening on Sept. 27.

Durgin Square is tenanted by TJ Maxx, HomeGoods and Shaw’s.

Wilder Cos. is the management company for the shopping center.

Five new retailers to open at Westchester’s Ridge Hill

Forest City Ratner Cos., the developer of Westchester’s Ridge Hill, in Yonkers, N.Y., announced that four new retailers have completed leases and will be opening their stores during the spring/summer 2012.

Yonkers, N.Y. -- Forest City Ratner Cos., the developer of Westchester’s Ridge Hill, in Yonkers, N.Y., announced that four new retailers have completed leases and will be opening their stores during the spring/summer 2012. They are LA Fitness; T.J. Maxx; Pandora and Francesca’s Collection.

Additionally, Guitar Center, which had previously executed a lease, will be opening its new store at Ridge Hill during the December holiday season. These new stores will occupy 108,939 sq. ft. at Westchester’s Ridge Hill.

Guitar Center renews agreement with APT

Applied Predictive Technologies (APT) said that Guitar Center has renewed its license for APT's retail testing software.

Built in 1999, Oakview Plaza is a power center that serves Omaha's westward expansion, and comprises three single-story retail buildings located on approximately 19.6 acres of land and containing approximately 177,303 rentable sq. ft. It is tenanted by Famous Footwear, Men's Warehouse, PetSmart, Panera, Dick's Sporting Goods and Babies "R” Us.
