That sounds like Nordstrom service.

But this isn't Nordstrom. It is the concierge desk at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, Calif., a mixed-use development from Los Angeles-based Caruso Affiliated. It's what happens at every center in the Caruso Affiliated portfolio of 2.1 million sq. ft. of retail and residential properties.

Buffalo Wild Wings to open at Glendale Town Center

Kite Realty Group said that Buffalo Wild Wings will open on a 0.92 acre outparcel at Glendale Town Center, located in Indianapolis.

9021Pho to open at Glendale Galleria

Vietnamese-French fusion restaurant 9021Pho said it will open a new restaurant at General Growth Properties-owned Glendale Galleria, in Glendale, Calif.

Glendale, Calif. -- Vietnamese-French fusion restaurant 9021Pho said it will open a new restaurant at General Growth Properties-owned Glendale Galleria, in Glendale, Calif.

The restaurant is slated to open fourth quarter 2012. 9021Pho has two other Southern California locations in Beverly Hills and Westlake Village.

When a major mall wants to create a stir, adding a premier department store retailer such as Bloomingdale’s will usually do the trick.

In early November, Chicago-based General Growth Properties announced that it will add Bloomies as an anchor to its Glendale Galleria property, in Glendale, Calif. As well, said GGP, the center will undergo an expansive renovation, incorporating aesthetic updates to both the interior and exterior of the property.

Bloomingdale’s to open store in Glendale, Calif.

Macy’s said Thursday that it will open a full-line Bloomingdale’s in Glendale Galleria in Glendale, Calif., in fall 2013.

New York City -- Macy’s said Thursday that it will open a full-line Bloomingdale’s in Glendale Galleria in Glendale, Calif., in fall 2013.

The 120,000-sq.-ft., two-level store will headline an upscale redevelopment of the center being planned by its owner, General Growth Properties. The top two floors of the former Mervyn’s location will be entirely remodeled by Bloomingdale’s, with construction expected to begin in 2012.

Disney Co. to open Disney Baby stores

The Walt Disney Co. will open its first-ever Disney Baby store next year at the Americana in Glendale, Calif., the Los Angeles Times reported.

New York City -- The Walt Disney Co. will open its first-ever Disney Baby store next year at the Americana in Glendale, Calif., the Los Angeles Times reported.

The company plans to open Disney Baby locations -- one on each coast -- to display the best of its new infant line, according to the report.

The stores will give Disney executives the opportunity to interact with the parents of newborns and refine product offerings that span infant apparel, nursery items and bath products.

Nordstrom to build new store at The Americana at Brand

Nordstrom and Caruso Affiliated announced that they will relocate its existing Glendale Galleria store, in Glendale, Calif., and build a new store at Caruso Affiliated’s The Americana at Brand in downtown Glendale.

Glendale, Calif. -- Nordstrom and Caruso Affiliated announced that they will relocate its existing Glendale Galleria store, in Glendale, Calif., and build a new store at Caruso Affiliated’s The Americana at Brand in downtown Glendale.

The new three-level, 135,000-sq.-ft. store is slated to open in fall 2013 and will be part of the expansion of The Americana at Brand. Nordstrom said it will continue serving customers at its current Glendale Galleria store, located next to The Americana at Brand, until the new store opens.
