Simon Property Group has announced the opening of Phase I of St. Louis Premium Outlets in Chesterfield, Mo., a suburb of St. Louis.

Chesterfield, Mo. — Simon Property Group has announced the opening of Phase I of St. Louis Premium Outlets in Chesterfield, Mo., a suburb of St. Louis.

The 350,000-sq.-ft. Phase I features 90 outlets and is 100% leased. Designer and name branded outlet shops include Armani, Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Nike, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th and Under Armour.

The center is a joint venture between Simon Property Group and Woodmont Outlets, an affiliate of The Woodmont Company, a retail shopping center developer and operator.

Simon Property Group said that St. Louis Premium Outlets, located in Chesterfield, Mo., has moved up its opening date to Aug. 22, 2013, and will be joined by Nike, Cole Haan, Converse, Gymboree, Adidas, Wilsons Leather and Claire's Accessories.

Simon Property Group said that a new lineup of tenants has committed to opening at its St. Louis Premium Outlets property in Chesterfield, Mo., bringing the center to 75% pre-leased.

Indianapolis -- Simon Property Group said that a new lineup of tenants has committed to opening at its St. Louis Premium Outlets property in Chesterfield, Mo., bringing the center to 75% pre-leased.

BCBGMAXAZRIA, Charlotte Russe, Jos. A. Bank, Motherhood Maternity, Max Studio and Sarar will open new stores at the value destination. Sportswear and accessories brands to be featured at the property will include Bass, Gold Toe, Jockey, Rue21, Saucony, Sperry and Vera Bradley. Others include Kitchen Collection, Samsonite, Fragrance Outlet and Ultra Diamonds.

As part of the ceremony, Taubman revealed a variety of store names that will make their debuts at the new outlet mall, among them Banana Republic Factory Store, Gap Outlet, J. Crew Factory, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, 2b Bebe, American Eagle Outfitters - Off Campus, and Sunglass Hut.

Bloomington Hills, Mich.-based mall owner Taubman said that it has broken ground on a high-end outlet mall in Chesterfield, Mo., in suburban St. Louis.

Chesterfield, Mo. -- Bloomington Hills, Mich.-based mall owner Taubman said Thursday that it has broken ground on a high-end outlet mall in Chesterfield, Mo., in suburban St. Louis.

Taubman Prestige Outlets Chesterfield is slated to open in fall 2013 and will feature 450,000 sq. ft. of retail space with more than 100 stores, an open-air design, dog-friendly grounds, access to a levee-fitness trail and a food court.

The new outlet center, which was announced in October as Spirit of St. Louis Outlets, will be comprised of 55 acres and will anchor Chesterfield Blue Valley, a mixed-use development to include office space, hotel, restaurant and entertainment venues.

This transaction marks WP Realty’s 10th acquisition of the year.

Chesterfield Marketplace is a one-story, 428,576-sq.-ft. community shopping center anchored by PetSmart, Staples and TJ Maxx, and shadow anchored by Home Depot and Toys “R” Us.

The portion of the center acquired, 197,942 sq. ft., is currently 54% occupied with 91,232 sq. ft. of available space.
