Blink Fitness to open new location in the Bronx

Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners said that Blink Fitness has leased 15,830 sq. ft. at 800 St. Anns Avenue in Bronx, N.Y.

New York City -- Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners said that Blink Fitness has leased 15,830 sq. ft. at 800 St. Anns Avenue in Bronx, N.Y.

The new store is scheduled to open in second quarter 2012.

Daffy’s opens store in Bay Plaza Shopping Center

New Rochelle, N.Y.-based Welco Realty Inc., an X Team partner, announced that Daffy’s opened its first store in Bronx, N.Y.

Bronx, N.Y. -- New Rochelle, N.Y.-based Welco Realty Inc., an X Team partner, announced that Daffy’s opened its first store in Bronx, N.Y.  

The retailer opened a store in Bay Plaza Shopping Center, one of the largest strip shopping centers in New York City. Welco Realty negotiated the deal on behalf of the landlord, Prestige Properties & Development Co.

Target has partnered with two local developers to purchase a 7.9-acre United States Postal Service site in the Throgs Neck section of Bronx, N.Y., for $35.2 million, where they plan to build a 300,000-sq.-ft. mall, according to New York Read Estate News.
