Publix opening completes Boynton Lakes Plaza redevelopment

Jacksonville, Fla.-based shopping center owner Regency Centers said it has completed the redevelopment of Boynton Lakes Plaza, a 117,124-sq.-ft. neighborhood center in Boynton Beach, Fla., which included the addition of a 45,000-sq.-ft. Publix.

Boynton Beach, Fla. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based shopping center owner Regency Centers said it has completed the redevelopment of Boynton Lakes Plaza, a 117,124-sq.-ft. neighborhood center in Boynton Beach, Fla., which included the addition of a 45,000-sq.-ft. Publix.

The new grocery anchor relocated from an undersized store in a nearby center and is slated to open on June 9.

Expanded Publix to be unveiled in Boynton Beach redevelopment

Shopping center owner Edens & Avant said Wednesday that an expanded new Publix will open Sept. 2012 at Sunshine Square retail center in Boynton Beach, Fla.

Columbia, S.C. -- Shopping center owner Edens & Avant said Wednesday that an expanded new Publix will open Sept. 2012 at Sunshine Square retail center in Boynton Beach, Fla.

The centerpiece of the multi-million dollar redevelopment, the new 54,000-sq.-ft. Publix will be more integrated into the overall center, one aspect of a larger plan to improve shopper circulation that also includes enhanced vehicular and pedestrian access.

The existing Publix store is scheduled to close Sept. 24.

Publix to anchor Boynton Lakes Plaza redevelopment

Boynton Beach, Fla. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers announced the addition of Publix Super Market as the new anchor of Boynton Lakes Plaza, a 117,000-sq.-ft. neighborhood center in Boynton Beach, Fla. 

Publix is relocating from an undersized 39,000-sq.-ft. store in a nearby center to open a new prototype of 45,600 sq. ft. in late summer 2012.   

The store will occupy a former Winn-Dixie site that was closed along with 29 other locations in July 2010.

Boynton Beach Mall announces new retailers and CCS south Florida debut

Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group announced that its Boynton Beach Mall property recently welcomed eight new local retailers to its tenant lineup and has also announced the South Florida debut of CCS, a national skate and extreme sports concept store from Foot Locker, to open later this year.
