Gordmans Inc. has signed an anchor lease for 50,505 sq. ft. at Southshore Shopping Center in Boise, Idaho, said Pine Tree Commercial Realty LLC.

Boise, Idaho — Gordmans Inc. has signed an anchor lease for 50,505 sq. ft. at Southshore Shopping Center in Boise, Idaho, said Pine Tree Commercial Realty LLC. The store is slated to open next spring.

The property is owned by Pine Tree –Inland Development I LLC, a joint venture between Inland Real Estate Corporation and Pine Tree Institutional Realty LLC, an affiliate of Pine Tree Commercial Realty.

Mark Bottles Real Estate Services represented the landlord in the transaction.

OfficeMax Inc. said it received a $72 million cash distribution from Boise Cascade Holdings LLC, in which it has a minority stake.

Naperville, Ill. -- OfficeMax Inc. said Wednesday it received a $72 million cash distribution from Boise Cascade Holdings LLC, in which it has a minority stake.

OfficeMax owns about 20% of the voting equity securities of Boise Cascade, which went public in February. The company manufactures plywood and other building materials.

OfficeMax is in the process of merging with rival Office Depot.

Boise, Idaho -- Albertsons LLC plans to close four underperforming stores: one in Arizona, one in Louisiana and two in Texas.

The closings will leave Albertsons with 205 stores in the Southwest and the South.

The 37,000-sq.-ft. store will be part of the Boise Towne Plaza shopping center and is expected to open in spring 2012.

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- Performance Bicycle, the nation’s largest specialty bike retailer, announced that in April it will open six new stores in four states nationwide.

The expansion includes stores in Sacramento and Berkeley, Calif.; Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin, Texas; Atlanta, and the company’s first ever store in Idaho, in Boise.

These six locations join Performance Bicycle’s 94 existing stores.
