St. Louis – Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is publicly accusing Walgreens of charging customers more for some products at the cash register than their advertised price in the store aisle. According to Bloomberg, Koster said Missouri will sue Walgreens for false and misleading advertising after a two-month undercover investigation of eight stores in cities including St. Louis, Kansas City and Jefferson City.

Seasonal, temporary and pop-up retailers have an added challenge this year. As of March, any retail space constructed or altered must meet the Department of Justice’s latest ADA requirements and the 2010 Standards for Accessible Design. 

That applies to all new retail construction and any alterations to retail spaces; and if an existing facility is used, then retailers must conduct “readily achievable barrier removal.”

Office Depot has reached an agreement with Colorado’s attorney general to offer a refund to about 115 Colorado governmental agencies and nonprofits in connection with the sale of office supplies between January 2006 and March 2009, the Denver Business Journal reported.

The agreement calls for the chain to refund customers as much as $189,000.

Indianapolis -- Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller says the state will get $858,000 from CVS Pharmacy to settle allegations that the company overcharged Medicaid programs, the Associated Press reported.

The amount represents Indiana's share of a $17.5 million settlement reached last week with 10 states and the federal government.
