Arby's Restaurant Group Inc. (ARG), franchisor of Arby’s, has signed development agreements with new and existing franchisees.

Atlanta - Arby's Restaurant Group Inc. (ARG), franchisor of Arby’s, has signed development agreements with new and existing franchisees. ARG recently sold 14 company-operated restaurants in Tampa, Fla., to Mosaic Investments Inc., a fully integrated investment firm based in Atlanta. In addition to remodeling existing locations slated to commence at the end of 2014, Mosaic has committed to build 13 new Arby's restaurants in the Tampa area during the next nine years.

Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. has appointed Fallon as its national creative agency of record following a review period and search that began in October 2013 and ended in January 2014.

Atlanta - Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. has appointed Fallon as its national creative agency of record following a review period and search that began in October 2013 and ended in January 2014. As Arby's advertising agency, Fallon will lead the strategic creative development and implementation for the brand's television, radio, print and digital channels.

Fallon will officially begin work effective Jan. 21, 2014. In addition to the AFA board, Arby's was also aided by Joanne Davis Consulting, Inc. throughout the agency review process.

Redlands, Calif. -- Atlanta-based Arby's Restaurant Group has licensed Esri’s Business Analyst software and business data to help with corporate decision making. Arby's is using the location-based system to more accurately assess its restaurants and trade areas including growing, remodeling, and relocating restaurants.

Dublin, Ohio -- Wendy's/Arby's Group said Thursday it plans to sell off its struggling Arby's quick-serve chain to focus on the Wendy's hamburger business.

The two fast-food chains were combined when Triarc Cos., Arby's parent, bought Wendy's for $2.2 billion in 2008 to create the third-largest publicly held fast-food chain.

Arby's generated about 30% of the company's sales in its third quarter.

At least one analyst feels the sale could bring in $400 million to $600 million.
