Social Apparel to open 34th Street location

Winick Realty Group said that women’s formal wear brand Social Apparel, with locations in four New York malls, has leased its first freestanding location at 255 West 34th Street, located between Seventh and Eighth Avenues in Manhattan’s Garment District.

The store includes 1,760 sq. ft. on the ground floor, 1,276 sq. ft. on the mezzanine and 1,540 sq. ft. in the basement.

European Wax Center to open at Murray Hill

Winick Realty Group announced that European Wax Center has signed a lease for its first Murray Hill location at 222 East 34th Street, between Second and Third Avenues.

New York -- Winick Realty Group announced that European Wax Center has signed a lease for its first Murray Hill location at 222 East 34th Street, between Second and Third Avenues. The 1,900-sq.-ft., ground-floor store is slated to open this spring.

The store is part of the newly developed retail at the base of 480-unit luxury apartment building The Anthem.

Winick Realty Group is exclusively handling retail leasing on the building on behalf of landlord Rosebud Associates.

Hale & Hearty Soups to open on Madison Ave.

Winick Realty Group said that Hale & Hearty has signed a lease for its latest location at 177 Madison Avenue, between East 33rd and East 34th Streets.

New York -- Winick Realty Group said that Hale & Hearty has signed a lease for its latest location at 177 Madison Avenue, between East 33rd and East 34th Streets.
 
The tenant will occupy 2,500 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 2,500 sq. ft. in the basement.
 
Hale & Hearty Soups currently has 28 locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island.

DSW announces two stores in Manhattan

DSW Inc. has opened on 34th Street in Manhattan, in the heart of New York's fashion district.

New York -- DSW Inc. has opened on 34th Street in Manhattan, in the heart of New York's fashion district. The retailer also announced plans to open a store on the Upper West Side in early summer 2012.

At over 33,000 sq. ft., the 34th Street location is the one of the largest in the DSW chain. It has three floors of selling space. The DSW store at 79th and Broadway will also be very large, measuring over 32,000 sq. ft.
