New Marketing Executive Joins Marks Plier
Full-service advertising, marketing and interactive-marketing firm, Marks Plier recently announced the hiring of Don Schneider as group VP, Client Services.
With over 20 years in advertising and marketing, Schneider, 44, will bring his extensive experience in account management, process and workflow analysis, production and creativity. In his new role, Schneider will acquire and manage new business opportunities for new and existing clients.
Schneider has worked with multiple cross-functional departments that include merchandising, planning, branding, advertising, promotions and print buying organizations that provide him with the expertise to service clients from creative concepting to successful execution.
Prior to joining Marks Plier, Schneider was VP, Account Services at Ambrosi where he serviced top retailers including Sears and Office Max and specialized in print circulars, inserts, direct mail and catalogs. He analyzed, standardized and improved workflow between the client and Ambrosi's creative, production and photography departments. These efforts increased productivity, improved quality and reduced costs for his clients. In a previous position with Ambrosi, Schneider was VP, Production Services responsible for the traffic, quality assurance, IT, training and operations departments. He started his career in Sears’ in-house marketing department producing print advertising.
