Merchandising Chief Named for Old Navy
San Francisco Gap Inc. has named Mark Breitbard to the newly created role of chief merchandising and creative officer of Old Navy.
Breitbard had worked at Gap previously in merchandising positions at Old Navy, Banana Republic and the namesake company from 1997 until 2005. He most recently served as president of Levi Strauss & Co.'s retail unit.
In his new role, Breitbard will be responsible for taking products from design concept through store placement.
