Former eBay CEO Reportedly Considering Governor Run
San Francisco Former eBay CEO Meg Whitman is reportedly considering running for governor of California.
Based on term limits that will force Arnold Schwarzenegger to leave his post in 2010, Whitman could run as a Republican candidate.
While the Los Angeles Times reported Whitman’s intention last January, Whitman recently resigned from three corporate boards for personal reasons.
The former CEO, who has been considered as a potential treasury secretary, has not made an official announcement, according to a person close to Whitman.
