Applebee’s selects Buxton to assist in market planning and site selection
Fort Worth, Texas -- Applebee’s Services said Wednesday it has chosen customer analytics firm Buxton to assist with the franchise system’s real estate expansion and company asset-management strategies for Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill &Bar restaurants.
Applebee’s, a DineEquity brand, will use Buxton’s Scout platform, to establish future expansion in potential franchise markets and assist in asset management decisions.
“We chose Buxton to help execute our real estate strategy and to help us understand where future opportunities exist,” said Andrea Gladson, Franchise Development Specialist for Applebee’s. “We have seen a lot of success over the past three decades, and realize that as we continue to grow, we need a more advanced, fact-based location intelligence platform to work with, which is where Buxton and Scout come into play.”
Lenexa, Kan.-based Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill currently operates 2,000 locations worldwide.
